The F1 calendar has expanded to a whopping 24 races for the 2024 season, and we all know what that means: Max Verstappen could break his ridiculous record of 19 Grand Prix wins… or Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren and Aston Martin could get theirs. Working together and giving things a go this time.

Carlos Sainz was the only non-Red Bull driver to top a podium last year and Frédéric Vasseur has promised a complete overhaul to make the Prancing Horse consistently competitive again. Mercedes’ hopes rest on W15 and Lewis Hamilton partnering until he departs for Ferrari in 2025, while it’s a full-season event for McLaren and Aston Martin.

Alfa Tauri has been rebranded as RB, which won’t be confusing in the slightest, Alfa Romeo is now stake F1 team Kick Sauber (and will become Audi in two years), Ayao Komatsu Haas has replaced Guenther Steiner as team principal, and Sergio Perez is once again fighting for his seat.

In 2024, there will be only one pre-season test in Bahrain from 29 February to 2 March. There are no significant rule changes, no rookies or new tracks, and F1 has announced six sprint races: the Chinese, Miami, Austrian, US, Brazilian, and Qatar Grands Prix. Read on as we explain how to watch F1 races online and on TV.
